Yesterday, I wished Lenwood Johnson luck in his ANC re-election race after he used his government-issued cell phone to make days’ worth of adult chat calls and called half of his ANC colleagues dirty names in public forums.

So how’d he fare? Not too well.

Johnson received 223 votes in his ANC 1A10 district, to 473 for his opponent, Anthony Cimino, according to D.C. Board of Elections and Ethics returns.

But maybe it’s a blessing in disguise for Johnson. After all, he did tell the Post, “I’m not very happy there [on Irving Street], so I don’t spend a whole lot of time there except for sleeping there and whatever. I do spend a lot of time in Gaithersburg.”
