This gem comes from the pages of Wednesday’s Express, via @IMGoph and New Columbia Heights. As the latter points out, “There is literally nothing correct with this map, except that they did get DC’s boundary right, and they put Maryland and Virginia in the right place.” But Petworth has moved to the Palisades, Silver Spring to Chevy Chase, Benning Road to the Navy Yard, Pentagon City to outside of Arlington, and Suitland to within the District’s borders.
I’d like to be charitable and say that everything just got shifted an inch and a half to the west, but I don’t even think that’s quite right. Hopefully no Metro rider is actually using this Metro Rider’s Guide, or we’ll have some very confused would-be visitors to Bluejacket Brewery emerging from trains on Benning Road.
