He had to lose the shark tank and slash $1 million off the price tag, but former Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas has finally sold his Great Falls, Va., mansion.
According to Redfin, Arenas’ seven-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bathroom mansion sold last week for $2.5 million. That’s a million shy of what Arenas was initially seeking in 2012. It’s also less than the $2,875,000 Arenas paid for the house in 2003, when he was playing for the Wizards.
The house is also down a shark tank, removed recently during renovations. Here’s the before and after:
Curbed reported in October that the house was under contract but did not include the price. Redfin did not disclose the identity of the buyer.
