The listing for this Georgetown condo is economical with its letters. There’s a “1,400+ sq ft pvt roof terrace in exclusive G-town condo bldg.” The buyer can look forward to savoring the “architect dets” and “Bang & Olufsen snd sys,” and taking advantage of the “2 pking, 2 strg, pool, fitness cntr, [and] meet rm.”
But when it comes to the key descriptor of the condo, the listing sees fit to lift its self-imposed character limit, unless the missing “s” was eliminated for space: “Euro-inspired kitch.”
Frankly, the condo doesn’t seem all that kitschy, compared to some of the other exorbitant homes in the District. But it certainly is exorbitant. There’s the aforementioned “1,400+ sq ft pvt roof terrace.” There’s the nearly 550-square-foot living room. There are all the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Potomac River. Oh yeah, and then there’s the $6.5 million price tag.
