It’s understandable if, somehow, you overlooked this bit of food news, but over the weekend, Joey Chestnut retained his title in Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest. He wolfed down 68 dogs and buns in 10 minutes, a new world record. Judges, I’m told, are testing for signs of tapeworm cheating.
