There’s still time to nominate local icons for Best of D.C.
Those of you who were enticed by the Beerspotter’s glowing review of Brasserie Des Franches-Montagnes beers but missed the Birreria Paradiso event last night are in for a treat. You can catch Jérôme Rebetez and his fine beers tonight at ChurchKey. Details from the venue:
Brasserie Des Franches-Montagnes Cask Tapping & Brewmaster Meet & Greet on Tuesday, January 19, beginning at 6 PM. We will be pouring the first cask in DC of the intriguing B.A.T.S. – an innovative ale brewed with Lapsang Souchong tea leaves that have been smoked over pinewood fires. A portion of the proceeds from tonight’s cask tapping will be donated to the Neighborhood Restaurant Group’s Haitian relief efforts.
In addition to tonight’s unique cask, many of Jerome’s rare and sought-after brews will be available in bottles. Cask tasters will run $4.50, and glasses are $9. A portion of the proceeds from these sales will be donated directly to Haitian relief efforts. Reservations are not required. For more information, please contact ChurchKey.
