On Monday I asked you what beers you all were enjoying during the Super Bowl, at which time I was double-fisting a surprisingly tasty Woodchuck Oak Aged Draft Cider and a frosty glass of humility (OK, and a Dale’s Pale Ale). What did you have? Not fizzy Crap Light, that’s for sure — Y&H readers drink in style!
First responder, commenter mike, tried the new Sierra Nevada bock and did a little scientific comparison of Dogfish Head IPAs:
SN Glissade, prima pils and DFH Squall IPA back to back with its sister 90 minute. knocked me out..
Two Twitterers made me extremely jealous, one with homebrew and another by trotting out a list of vintage beers:
@philhagen: Drank homebrew, made at Shenandoah Brewing Company during #SB44. A Peach IPA and an ESB – both excellent!
@VTjawo: 2008 Avery Barleywine, Stone Arrogant Bastard, Oskar Blues Old Chub, Bells HopSlam…Too much? never!!!
But the most prudent drinker was @hkvu, who seems to be learning the error of his ways, keeping his Bud Light unopened.
@hkvu: Drank Sierra Nevada Glissade and Stella. Unlike in ads, Bud Light cans remained on top of fridge, only in case of emergency.

Now if only I could get you to replace that Stella Artois! Get yourself a good lager, like Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold, my man!
