Last week’s announcement that Dolcezza would open a Dupont Circle store left a reader or two confused about the gelateria’s exact location. I had to admit, I wasn’t sure what space the owners were talking about, either; according to the release, the new store would be located “directly in front of the Dupont Circle Metro stop.”

It turns out that the shop will be located in the former Daddy & Son Camiceria Italiana space at 1704 Connecticut Ave. NW.  It’s actually a good block from the north exit of the Dupont Metro stop, which is just as well. You can walk off some of the calories.
