Y&H, of course, is not the only one with opinions about food. We have a whole army of Restaurant Raters who share their thoughts on local eateries, too.  Some of their opinions can occasionally generate some serious pushback from others, which is good.

Heacockb just posted his/her first review, which is a rave for the Greek Taverna in McLean. Here’s heacockb’s take on the place:

I work a few blocks from this restaurant and I eat here every week. We have lots of good restaurants in McLean, but this is hands down my favorite. Most weeks they have grilled swordfish as a special. Christos marinates is in some magically way and it is simply the best tasting swordfish I’ve ever had. If the swordfish isn’t available I highly recommend the grilled trout or the grilled calamari. Both are wonderful. A few years ago I traveled to Greece and I can honestly say the the food I had there was not nearly as good as the food at the Greek Taverna in McLean.
