That’s one conclusion you could draw from NPR‘s report yesterday that informed us supertasters love salt. Really love salt. Penn State researchers discovered that:

supertasters couldn’t get enough [salt]. They choose higher-sodium foods than their counterparts. For instance, they opted for — and preferred — higher sodium chips and cheeses.

In other words, supertasters: Enjoy your food…while you can.
