Because I pretend to be too humble to write about myself, I asked editor Michael Schaffer to announce the news: Y&H will appear in the 2010 edition of Best Food Writing with last fall’s cover story on Zagat.

As fate would have it, this week’s Young & Hungry column will revisit the subject of Zagat — and why only fine-dining restaurants reach the upper levels of the guide’s food ratings, even though, say, a well-executed Thai restaurant or a gourmet burger joint should technically be able to score 30 points, too.
