Of any individual, Homer Simpson probably did the most to educate the American public about the dangers of eating fugu, the Japanese delicacy that if improperly sliced, can lead to poisoning and, in some cases, death. Fortunately, for D.C.’s more adventurous sushi diners, Chef Kazuhiro Okochi of Kaz Sushi Bistro not only has five years of formal sushi training in Osaka—including fugu preparation—but is also currently offering the potentially deadly delicacy as part of a special five-course dinner.
The fugu dinner is priced at $150 per person and the supply is limited. Call (202) 530-5500 to check availability and book reservations.
