In case the thought of Meat Week-related barbecue disgusts you, D.C. Meat-Free Week will kick off next week. Want to try a five-course $45 per person vegan tasting menu at Nage? Consider Feb. 7 booked. How about a tofu curry and vegan sour cherry pie? Swing by Dangerously Delicious Pies on Feb. 9. Many of the daily events benefit a particular cause, like Miriam’s Kitchen or Compassion Over Killing. While reservations aren’t required for some Meat-Free Week events, others require that free tickets be reserved. Also, a food-truck-themed day is planned for Feb. 10.
