Real estate broker Tom Papadopoulos announced last week that he is working to bring one of Hollywood’s hottest restaurants to the District. The broker tells Dining Bisnow that proprietors of the renowned starfucker hotspot Koi are eyeing the downtown D.C. area, in particular, for their next location.

On its web site, the chic restaurant is described as a sort of modern Japanese fusion type of joint, featuring such signature dishes as crispy rice topped with spicy tuna and miso-bronzed black cod.

But, on YouTube, the venue comes off not as a particularly good place to eat, but rather a great backdrop to make a dramatic exit. David Beckham, Audrina Partridge, Milla Jovovich, and Faith Hill, among others, have each avoided the proverbial door smack on their way out of the West Hollywood hotspot.
