Y&H is still waiting to hear whether your favorite spot for wings and ours, Duffy’s Irish Pub and Restaurant, will be allowed to expand its hours of operation. The D.C. Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board on Wednesday delayed a scheduled vote on whether to allow the venue to break its voluntary agreement with neighbors, which now legally binds proprietor Andrew Duffy to announcing last call at 11:30 p.m. on weeknights. Explaining the postponement, ABC board member Mike Silverstein cites the panel’s lengthy agenda of other stuff to get done, saying, “We’re busy trying to fit 10 pounds of stuff into a five-pound bag.”
