New York transplant Carmine’s hasn’t lost that Big Apple boastfulness since opening in D.C.’s Penn Quarter last summer. After coming away from this year’s Rammys with honors as “Power Spot of the Year” and “Favorite Restaurant,” as voted by the public, the sprawling, 700-seat family-style restaurant is making sure that every passerby is aware of its newfound acclaim.
