Granville Moore’s sous chef Mike Lunsford informs Y&H that he has left Teddy Folkman‘s moules frites mecca on H Street NE to become head chef at the neighborhood’s forthcoming gourmet burger joint The Big Board. Urban Daddy has details on the opening menu, which includes one beef patty marinated in Guinness stout, topped with Irish cheddar and a pan gravy made with Jameson whiskey. The restaurant’s Facebook page pegs the tentative opening date as Oct. 8—”[i]f all goes according to plan (which seems to be a lot to ask).”
