Inexpensive yet notoriously fussy Adams Morgan red-sauce joint Pasta Mia (“an endless magnet for new arrivals to D.C.,” ranked No. 44 on City Paper‘s list of “D.C.’s 44 Most Powerful Restaurants“) is hoping to serve its cheap house wine into the wee hours. The restaurant has applied to extend service from 10 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday and until 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The proposed change in hours of operation appears on Wednesday’s agenda of the District’s Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.
