Acclaimed chef Todd Gray is shaking things up at his acclaimed eatery Equinox and its not-so-acclaimed sister restaurant Watershed. WaPo critic Tom Sietsema, who recently awarded Watershed just a single star, has the scoopage. The latest, via Twitter, has Karen Nicolas, former sous chef at New York’s Gramercy Tavern and California’s Dry Creek Kitchen, taking over as executive chef at Equinox. Nicolas replaces chef de cuisine Godofredo Vaquerano, who is moving over to Watershed to replace Chris Kenworth, who is out as chef de cuisine at that location.
