Pho 14, City Paper readers’ pick for the District’s best Vietnamese noodle soup the past two years running, remains closed Monday after firefighters shuttered the Columbia Heights eatery on Sunday evening on account of heavy fryer smoke. Management tells HuffPo DC a city inspector is expected to assess the situation this afternoon. A staffer who answered the phone says the restaurant could reopen “hopefully by tomorrow.”
