Latin-inspired restaurant Lima on K Street NW is taking on a new Asian-inspired twist and a new name to boot: Fujimori. Dining Bisnow has the scoop. Chef Raynold Mendizabal says the new motif and new menu (think braised short ribs with ponzu sauce) reflects the influences of Chinese and Japanese immigrants to places like Cuba and Peru. Expect lower prices (entrees for less than $20) and smaller plates. But Mendizabal insists, “this is not a tapas place. We don’t need one more tapas place.”
