Tonight: The antithesis to D.C. Meat Week—-D.C. Meat-Free Week—-kicks-off with a party at Sticky Fingers. On the menu: barbecue seitan, mashed potatoes, purple slaw, corn bread, and a special event-inspired cupcake. Price is $14.99 per person.
Coming up: tomorrow, Hill Country hosts Shiner brewmaster Jimmy Mauric for a three-course dinner paired with five of his brews, including one rarely seen outside of Texas. Price is $45 per person. Meanwhile, the Ritz-Carlton hosts a gala honoring women chefs from across the region. Tickets start at $250. The event raises funds for ovarian cancer programs.
