Tonight: talk about a sausage party. Acclaimed local tube steak maker Jamie Stachowski is hosting a five-course sausage fest at Restaurant Three in Arlington. If you don’t have a reservation, though, too bad: the event is completely sold out. There are other options, of course. You can snack on hors d’oeuvres catered by D.C. Central Kitchen and help feed the poor in the process. The annual Bread For The City benefit and silent auction kicks off at 7 p.m., with all sorts of goodies for foodies up for bid, including a pasta-making class for four at Seasonal Pantry, a one-year membership to Arganica Farm Club, even a whole hog! Tickets are $55.
Coming up: on Saturday, P.J. Clarke’s debuts its new bottomless brunch, where $18.84 buys you unlimited Bellinis, Bloody Marys, Kir Royals, and mimosas. Also: Serious Eats hosts an afternoon meet-up for like-minded foodies at Boundary Stone, beginning at 2 p.m. Yes, this means free food. While it lasts, anyway.
