Tonight: Street food and fine wines might seem an unusual coupling. But think of it as a sign of just how far D.C.’s food truck scene has come. Tonight, six of city’s roving grub vendors will have their pedestrian eats paired with select wines at the National Press Club’s Fourth Estate Restaurant. Participating food trucks include The Big Cheese, Go Fish!, Lemongrass Vietnamese Cuisine, DC Empanadas, BBQ Bus, and Curbside Cupcakes. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased here.
Coming up: on Wednesday, Dino offers ten courses of duck, while Acre 121 serves five courses of oysters. And this weekend, The Passenger hosts a charity cocktail event benefiting breast cancer research.
