The newish (and purportedly more authentically Mexican) Tortilla Coast in Logan Circle this week extended its happy hour by a whole half-happy-hour. Another change that’s designed to drive up the contentment factor: food specials. Pick from tamales with barbacoa chicken, crispy pulled chicken taquitos and chicken quesadilas with chihuahua cheese, each priced at $5.95. A ceviche acapulco, featuring Mexican shrimp in a tomato and citrus broth with avocado, onions and cilantro, is also available for $7.95. Ordering on weeknights in the bar from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. saves you a buck or three off the regular price of each dish. Another perk: it soaks up all that cheap sangria in your stomach.

Also tonight: P.O.V. at the W Hotel hosts the final featured cocktail night in the lead up to Saturday’s Artini fundraiser at the Corcoran Gallery of Art.  Meanwhile, BlackSalt hosts a six-course, $150-per-person dinner spotlighting the wines of Oregon’s St. Innocent Winery.

Coming up: Fruit Bat on Friday kicks-off its new weekend food truck pop-up. On Saturday afternoon, guests at Graffiato get a complimentary glass of rosé.
