Acclaim for the wines of Georgia—-the country, I mean, not the Southern U.S. state—-apparently dates back to the days of Homer. The epic poet, mind you, not the cartoon. Tasting the stuff for yourself, though, involves no great odyssey. Not tonight, anyway. Mediterranean joint Agora is spotlighting the varietals of Georgia winery Château Mukhrani paired with four courses by chef Ghassan Jarrouj. On the menu: A shellfish soup, grilled branzino, petit filet mignon, and chocolate torte with raspberry coulis. The price is $60 per person.

Coming up: On Saturday, Boqueria offers free jamon iberico tastings. And, on Sunday, DC Brau celebrates its first anniversary with an appropriately sudsy party at Meridian Pint.
