You might remember Faith Holmes, the D.C.-based ice cream maker, from her demonstrations at last summer’s Fancy Food Show. As chronicled by Y&H alum and current Post food writer Tim Carman, Holmes uses liquid nitrogen to whip up batches of her homemade frosty treats in just 90 seconds. Tonight, she’ll be dishing out free two-ounce samples of a new flavor, Pie Scream, to the first 100 patrons at Pie Sisters in Georgetown, beginning at 5 p.m. The new ice cream incorporates pieces of the pie shop’s own sweet treats into the mix.
