For a pairing as ubiquitous and unimaginative as a burger and beer, tonight’s $15 combo deal at Dino in Cleveland Park sounds pretty exceptional. The 10-ounce patty should be meaty enough to satisfy your hunger, while the advertised beefy backstory (made from locally butchered cows raised without antibiotics or hormones) should also appeal to your ethical side. Meanwhile, the gussied-up presentation, served on toasted Tribecca Oven ciabatta and topped with a house-made anchovy Sriracha, may even gratify the inner gourmet. Add assorted exotic mushrooms, Berkshire bacon, or caramelized onions for an extra charge. Your pick from the rustic-themed enoteca’s diverse craft beer list is included. For an appropriately Italian flavor, try the Menabrea.

Coming up: On Thursday, celebrity chef Art Smith of Art and Soul hosts a charity dinner, featuring some of D.C.’s best known cooks, including Graffiato‘s Mike Isabella, The Source‘s Scott Drewno, Citronelle‘s Michel Richard, among others. Tickets are $150 per person and available here. Proceeds benefit Common Threads, an organization that teaches children to cook healthy, affordable meals.
