Do you have a plan to vote?
Let us tell you the information you need to register and cast a ballot in D.C.
Join the “Cocktail Guess” crew tonight at Fruit Bat, where the authors of City Paper‘s specifically vague liquor request column, alongside noted mixologist Erik Holzherr and you, the imbibing public, vote on the best recipes in Y&H’s artfully inspired cocktail contest. Finalists were inspired by everything from everyday graffiti to glossy male enhancement-pill magazine advertisements in creating their concoctions. The winner will see his or her frothy formula featured for a period of time on the Fruit Bat menu and also receive a $100 tab at one of Holzherr’s trio of Capitol Hill-area watering holes. There is no admission charge. But common courtesy would strongly suggest that you spring for a few frickin’ drinks beyond the provided cocktail samples. Proceeds will benefit, well, no specific charity, per se, except to maybe help cover the cost of all the alcohol involved in the contest. Whatever. It’ll be fun. Come cast your vote. Contest begins at 8 p.m.
