Pacifico Cantina opens tomorrow at 10 a.m. on Barracks Row. The Mexican restaurant is the latest project from Xavier Cervera, the restaurateur behind Molly Malone’s, the Chesapeake Room, Lola’s, and several other Capitol Hill eateries.

Expect fairly straight-forward Tex Mex offerings: nachos, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos, and fajitas. Pacifico also joins the ranks of hip Mexican joints with pricey guac—$12 for the Guacamole Mocajete. (Oyamel‘s guac is $13.50, Bandolero‘s is $13, Tortilla’s Coast‘s is $11.95, and El Centro‘s is $9.95.)

While it’s too soon to vouch for the food, the roof deck looks pretty sweet. Plus, the restaurant serves buckets of canned beer and a long list of tequilas, so you can’t go wrong there.
