At last, President Barack Obama has visited D.C.’s presidential-themed eatery, Lincoln. Earlier today, Obama lunched with four winners of the “Lunch with Barack” contest at the restaurant, which has has about a million pennies on the floor and Emancipation Proclamation on an LED-lit wall. Word is the Lincoln fan ate the “all-natural burger” with cheddar and a kale salad with lemon vinaigrette. He drank a sweet tea.
Owner Alan Popovsky‘s 10-year-old daughter, Arielle, was on hand to welcome the president. Obama asked Popovsky how his business was faring in the current economic environment and then asked Arielle where she was going for summer camp. He wished her “a great summer at camp” before heading out with his motorcade.
