The guys behind Pleasant Pops are giving out free popsicles today on K Street between 14th and 15th from noon to 3:30 p.m. Strangely, you can thank Qatar Airways for the freebies. The airline hired Pleasant Pops to give away the treats in front of its D.C. office as part of a social media campaign. Pleasant Pops co-owner Roger Horowitz says they have 2,000 popsicles on hand with flavors like strawberry ginger lemonade, pineapple basil, and cookies ‘n cream.
