It’s quite ambitious for a first-time restaurateur to open two restaurants within a month or two of each other, but it appears that’s exactly what chef Frederik de Pue now has planned. After several delays, de Pue’s Shaw restaurant Table is now set to open Jan. 18. He hopes to have his seafood-centric Penn Quarter restaurant Azur, which initially was scheduled to open on New Year’s Eve, up and running by the end of February.

Until then, you can check out the menu for Table on its website. Dishes will include mussels Provencal; tagliatelle with tomatoes, ricotta, and basil; bacon-wrapped monkfish with anise broth; and hazelnut fritters in a chocolate lemon sauce. Specialties like Burgundy snails with white beans and spinach as well as garlic frog legs will also be available depending on the season and availability. Appetizers will average around $12 and entrees will range from $18 to $32. The restaurant will eventually expand to brunch and lunch, too.
