After four consecutive years in the No. 1 spot, Komi has been unseated by the Inn at Little Washington on Washingtonian‘s rankings of the area’s top 100 restaurants. Critic (and Y&H alum) Todd Kliman tells us he’s saving his explanation for his online chat on Tuesday.

There are plenty of other shake-ups, but notably missing on this year’s list is the latest incarnation of Minibar. Last year, when the José Andrés spot was still a six-seat bar in the former America Eats Tavern/Café Atlántico space, it ranked No. 4.

Washingtonian does list Minibar among five “places to watch,” but the magazine writes, “It’s a tease for the diner, a denial of the simple pleasures of showing down. And the cost—$225 for food—makes it the most expensive dinner in the area.”

This is the second recent snub for Minibar. Post critic Tom Sietsema gave it two stars (a drop from three and a half stars) in his December review.
