The James Beard nominations are in! And…. they look pretty similar to last year’s.
Restaurant Eve‘s Cathal Armstrong, Komi‘s Johnny Monis, and Rasika‘s Vikram Sunderam are again nominees for best chef in the mid-Atlantic. They’re joined by Spike Gjerde of Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore.
Meanwhile, CityZen is a nominee for outstanding wine program, and Minibar is a contender for best restaurant design or renovation.
The James Beard Foundation previously named C.F. Folk’s as one of “America’s Classics,” and White House pastry chef Bill Yoses was inducted into the “Who’s Who of Food & Beverage in America.”
