Shake Shack officially opens in the International Spy Museum today at 11 a.m. This is the third D.C. location for the New York chain, after Dupont Circle and Nationals Stadium.
Exclusive to the F Street NW location are three new “concretes” (frozen custard ice creams with mix-ins), including the Beltway Blonde with vanilla custard, cheesecake blondie, salted caramel sauce, and banana as well as the Doughnuts Are Forever, which has vanilla custard, coconut doughnuts from Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken, strawberry jam, and rainbow sprinkles. There’s also the SMORSEcode, a chocolate custard with marshmallow sauce and graham crackers. Five percent of sales from the SMORSEcode will benefit Share Our Strength to help end childhood hunger.
