Chef Miles Vaden, an alum of Eventide, Fiola, and most recently Nage, has a new gig as executive chef of DC Coast. He replaces Matt Kuhn, who recently went to Ardeo + Bardeo.

This is not Vaden’s first time with Passion Food Group. He worked a brief stint with the restaurant group, helping out at Acadiana, Ten Penh, and District Commons, in between his roles at Eventide and Nage, says co-owner/chef Jeff Tunks.

Vaden started at DC Coast last Thursday, but starting today, he introduces a nightly Alaskan seafood-themed prix-fixe menu as part of the restaurant’s “Coast to Coast” dinner series. Vaden will roll out his own summer menu soon, Tunks says, but the style of the restaurant will remain the same. DC Coast celebrated its 15th anniversary just two weeks ago.
