Vendors at the Penn Quarter FRESHFARM farmers’ market like to call Thursday afternoons “chefs on parade.” Each week, a steady stream of white coat-clad chefs from nearby restaurants shop alongside tourists and office workers to pick up orders and seek inspiration from seasonal vegetation. On a recent Thursday, I got nosy and stopped a few chefs to see what they bought and what’s on their menus.
