City Paper is not for tourists
Now that Shake Shack has locations in Dupont Circle, Nationals stadium, and Penn Quarter, what’s next for the New York-based burger chain? Possibly Union Station.
Shake Shack recently registered an LLC for “Shake Shack Union Station Washington, D.C.,” suggesting it is working toward a location there.
But nothing is officially official. “We don’t have any news to confirm in D.C.,” says Shake Shack spokesman Edwin Bragg. “But we’ve been thrilled with the reception Shake Shack has received at our new F Street location that opened in June. We’ll continue to consider great locations in D.C.”
