City Paper is not for tourists
Taylor Gourmet fans mourned when the hoagie chain axed its breakfast offerings in June. The good news: Breakfast hoagies are back and will be available all day, every day beginning tomorrow. Countdown the minutes and seconds here.
Unfortunately, the breakfast hoagie options aren’t as extensive as they once were. There are just two choices (available in “regular size” only): the Queen Lane with spicy Italian sausage, eggs, broccoli rabe, and sweet provolone and the Filbert Street with bacon, capricola, eggs, arugula, and American cheese. Sorry, no breakfast risotto balls, though there are regular risotto balls on the new menu.
In addition to bringing breakfast back, Taylor’s offering several new hoagies and salads. Among them is a vegan option: the Lehigh Avenue with roasted cauliflower, spicy red pepper dressing, white bean hummus, and arugula. Diners can also now get any hoagie in a gluten-free wrap. (Check out the full new menu below.)
To celebrate the new offerings, every customer who orders a hoagie or salad from Oct. 23 through Oct. 27 will get a free side, including chickpea salad, kale side salad, pasta salad, or potato salad.
