Every month, Mike Isabella hands over Graffiato‘s kitchen to guest chefs from around the country for rowdy Industry Takeover Nights. Now, he’s also letting fellow chefs into the kitchen at G sandwich shop as well. Each month, the menu will feature a different sandwich created by someone from another restaurant.

The Source chef Scott Drewno is the first to come up with his own concoction. “The Drewno” consists of house-made kielbasa, Italian beef, sauerkraut, and spicy giardiniera. The $12 sandwich will be available throughout November. Bibiana chef Nick Stefanelli is up next for December.

Beginning today, G is also expanding its sandwich shop hours beyond weekday lunch. The sandwiches are now available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday (takeout only after 5 p.m.) and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. G’s Italian tasting menu is still offered Wednesdays through Saturdays from 6 to 10 p.m., and Sunday Gravy night still caps off the week from 5:30 until 10 p.m.
