Restaurateur Mark Bucher opens the second D.C. location of his Cleveland Park steak frites restaurant Medium Rare today at 5 p.m. on Barracks Row.
The new spot has the same menu as the original spot, which means for $19.50 you get bread, a mixed green salad, and steak with “secret sauce” and fries. That’s pretty much the entire menu, except for desserts (available a la carte), which include apple pie, hot fudge sundae, and six-layer carrot cake.
Medium Rare doubles the number of steak frites joints in Capitol Hill. Spike Mendelsohn‘s Bearnaise is only half a mile away.
