The president’s State of the Union address might really be just one big drinking game for wonks. This year, at least three bars and restaurants are playing State of the Union bingo.

The Diner in Adams Morgan will host a viewing party and bingo game with 50-cent wings and $18 pitchers from 8 p.m. until last call.

Meanwhile, the Washington Examiner is hosting its own bingo game at The 201 Bar with buzzwords like “compromise,” “change isn’t easy,” and “tax cuts.” Beginning at 8 p.m., get half off Belgian beers and wine bottles, plus $14 buckets of Goose Island 312, $5 infused bourbons, and other drink specials. Prizes will include a $100 Visa gift card, $50 DC Coast gift card, and lots of Examiner swag. RSVP for free here to reserve a bingo card. Oh, and it’s BYOB—Bring Your Own Blotter.

And lastly, Lou’s City Bar in Columbia Heights is getting in on the bingo action with a chance to win a $25 gift certificate plus shots. The bar will offer buckets of Coors Light for $20 and Redd’s Apple Ale bottles for $4.
