Here’s the first sign of spring: Garden District is firing up its smoker and reopening tomorrow at noon after a three-month hibernation. Assuming the sun is out, you might want to get there early. In spring openings past, crowds have been known to line up before the doors opened for first pick at a picnic table.
The 14th Street NW beer garden will be closed on Mondays until the weather warms up in April. In the meantime, there will be heaters to keep you comfortable while you scarf down your first pulled pork and Hofbrau of the season.
