Another week, another round-up of snow-related food and drink specials. But today there’s extra incentive to hit the bars: St. Patrick’s Day. We’ve combined both occasions into one mega round-up of places to eat and drink. We’ll continue to update this list throughout the day, so email hungry@washingtoncitypaper.com with more specials.

Doors open at 10 a.m. with three bands playing on two stages all day plus six bars, including on the tented patio. A new bar menu, including a whiskey menu, are also being released this week. The Dubliner celebrates its 40th anniversary this month.

The Odd Bar at Eventide opens at 4 p.m. with irish food specials and featured drinks.

Irish hot chocolate with Baley’s hazelnut and a pint of Conway’s Irish ale are each $6. Get the pint with a shot of Tullamore Dew whiskey for $9.

Opens at 8 a.m. (yes, in the morning) with $5 breakfast sandwiches and $5 irish coffee until 10 am. Stay for an all day party with Guinness, Smithwicks, Jameson, Baileys, and more.
Stop by beginning at 11 a.m. for an all-day Irish happy hour with $5 pints of Guinness and Flying Dog S.O.B. Irish Red Ale, $5 Irish punch, $5 whiskey specials on Powers and Paddys, and $6 Jameson. Irish-themed food includes colcannon cakes, beer-battered fish and chips, and Irish cheddar and rashers burgers. From 6 to 8 p.m., Castle Brands Irish Whiskey will host a whiskey tasting and pairing with Irish-inspired hors d’oeuvres. The tasting is $40 and includes one ounce pours of four whiskeys plus food.

From 2:45 p.m. until close, get $5 bar bites including corned beef spring rolls, mini shepherd’s pie, and Bailey’s cheese cake. Jameson, Guinness, and Irish coffee are available all day for $5. Also look out for a pipe and drum performance by the D.C. Fire Department’s Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Corps. Bonus: the restaurant is raffling off a $1,884 bar tab in honor of its founding year.
