While a group of anonymous judges decides most of the winners for the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s annual RAMMY Awards, the public will have the chance to give their input in four categories this year. You can cast your vote for favorite gathering place, upscale casual brunch, everyday casual brunch, and favorite fast bites at washingtoncitypaper.com/food/rammys today through April 27. The winners will be announced at the RAMMY gala—-of which Washington City Paper is a sponsor—-on June 22.
To promote the brunch categories, new this year, RAMW is hosting a “Best Brunch Passport” contest: Diners who visit three brunch-nominee restaurant between March 29 and April 13 and tweet pictures of their meals using the Twitter handle @RAMMYAwards or the hashtag #RAMMYSBrunch will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the awards gala.
