Last year, DC Brau collaborated with D.C. United to create the District’s first team-specific beer, a golden ale called The Tradition. Now, Ivy City brewery Atlas Brew Works is launching 1500 South Cap Lager, a new beer exclusively for the Washington Nationals, at the first home game on April 4.

The 4.8 percent-alcohol Helles lager is “an American spin on a traditional German style pale lager,” says head brewer Will Durgin in a press release. “It features light malt notes and earthy American hops.”

The beer, which gets its name from the stadium’s address, will be available throughout the three levels of the ballpark and at the Red Porch Restaurant. Atlas Brew Works’ Rowdy, District Common, and Home Rule beers will also rotate through the District Draft carts, along with other local brews from DC Brau, 3 Stars Brewing Company, Port City Brewing Company, and Mad Fox Brewing Company.
