Willie T’s Lobster Shack, a fast casual spot for lobster rolls and clam chowder, officially opens in Dupont today at 11 a.m. The restaurant comes from the same group that owns American Tap Room, Austin Grill, and Be Right Burger.
The menu centers around crab cakes, shrimp, and lobster rolls, with Maine lobster sourced from New England fisheries arriving three times a week. You’ll also find seafood salads, chowder, and “wicked whoopie pies” for dessert.
The space, previously occupied by Marvelous Market, is outfitted with reclaimed wood from New England and Maine seaport memorabilia.
