New York City’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg tried out his best Michelle Rhee impersonation today at the Atlantic Media-Aspen Institute-Newseum Washington Ideas Forum, reports Washingtonian writer Alyssa Rosenberg.
“Adrian Fenty will be fine,” Bloomberg said … “He’ll get a good job and he’ll make a lot of money. Same with Michelle. That’s not true for the kids of Washington, DC. Adrian didn’t lose. The children lost.”
LL is guessing that unlike Rhee, who tried to walk back from saying almost exactly what Bloomberg just said, New York’s billionaire mayor won’t be issuing any qualifying statements.
