Anyone know what’s up with Almost Mayor Vince Gray‘s news conference tomorrow? Campaign spokeswoman Traci Hughes just blasted an email that’s light on details.

The full text:

“Democratic Mayoral Nominee, Vince Gray, will hold a news conference tomorrow, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m.
WHERE: The Mayflower
The East Room
1127 Connecticut Avenue, NW
Note to planning editors:  Satellite trucks may park on Desales Street, NW“

That’s all it says.

LL can’t get a hold of Hughes for the moment, but she’s  told other reporters that this is a big deal.

What will it be? The person with the best guess will win the prize of being the person with the best guess.

Update: Hughes tells LL she can’t “be specific for a reason,” but says it will be well worth LL’s time to be there (unlike tonight’s Ward 7 town hall meeting, LL is guessing). Hughes wouldn’t say if the Post already knows what tomorrow’s shindig is about, leading LL to assume that they do know.
